Taming is a non-combat skill on the Last Shard. You can tame a set number of wolves/dogs to assist you in combat or protect you from monsters. It does not appear that ocelots/cats are affected by this skill.

Commands

Check the number of tamed wolves you currently have out of the max allowed, including the dog's name. The default name is Wolfy.

/pets

Call/revive tamed wolves to you from far away. (Costs 20 stamina)

/pets call
Skill Level

From skill level 0.0 to 49.9 you may only have one wolf.

From skill level 50.0 to 99.9 you may have two wolves.

At skill level 100.0 you may have three wolves.

Currently, breeding animals are not included in this count, so you could still have more than the allowed number of animals by breeding, but they will not be revived or recalled with the "/pets" command

Special Notes

- Dyed collars do not stay when pets are slain, revived, or recalled.

- Pets call command works even if tamed dogs are sitting somewhere else.

- Called dogs have low HP when summoned (HP is reflected by the height they hold their tail, refer to https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Wolf#Taming.2C_health_and_feeding )

- Dogs help to train Survivalism easily

- If dogs are sitting nearby when you are attacked, they will get up and attack your attacker.
