- No exploiting or cheating. An exploit is the use of a bug or design flaw by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers. This includes the use of x-ray or xray texture packs. Machines that make gold are considered cheating.
- No software, third party client, mod, script, or macro that gives you an advantage in PvP. No automation in any aspect of the game. These include such things as icons displaying on a map, nameplate mods, fly mod, no fall damage, automation of any kind such as aimbot, auto-consume, auto-replace hotbar with items, auto-fish etc. (Simple one-liner text macros/binds are OK. ie. calling guards, casting spells, repair macros, etc)
- If you have a question as to what a complex macro is please ask. Macro mod is OK as long as you are not using it for complex macros.
- No admin impersonation. Do not under any circumstances claim to be an admin or say someone else is an admin that isn't, or have any power an admin holds.
- Do not accuse people of cheating. If you suspect someone is cheating please use /report <minecraft name> <the reason they are cheating> or pm an admin on the forums.
- Do not avoid the anti-afk system. If you are at the computer moving around every so often that's fine, just don't build something that will prevent the afk-kick the server has.
- Do not bring personal real life info into the game. Keep everything in Lost Shard and minecraft. This means do not be an internet detective and start looking up peoples names, saying personal info like their name, location, or anything related to real-life.
- Do not make the admins lives harder, this includes disrespecting admins, ban evasion, lying to admins, creating traps that a player cannot escape from, griefing in such a manner it is only fixable by an admin (plotted lava source block above other plots), creating machines or clocks that repeat over and over causing the server stress (machines are okay to make and use as long as someone is actually using it for a purpose and is with it when running rather than it running when no one is there), etc. Pretty much a catch-all rule.
